Once a fighter but with a spiritual nature, Samantha is the only living cleric in a world that's been given to the dead. Her deity is Veruka, Lord of the underworld, has communicated his displeasure that GreyHawk has effectively become a 2nd underworld which is one too many. Regardless of his displeasure at the current situation, Veruka is subtly communicating through dreams his intention of expanding his portfolio to also become the lord of the arts.

Samantha has yet to discover her real identity.
